About us
Capricornia is being developed by an Australian team with local know-how and is backed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners
Our mission
Capricornia strives to produce reliable and affordable energy for Australians whilst delivering lasting benefit and economic growth for Queensland.
We prioritise community involvement every step of the way, ensuring the local community helps share the project and is kept up-to-date as it progresses from concept through to approvals, construction and operation.
Capricornia is powered by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), the world’s largest fund manager dedicated to greenfield clean energy investments.
With more than A$50 billion in clean energy investments under management, CIP develops, delivers, and operates large-scale clean energy infrastructure worldwide.
CIP partners with superannuation funds and other investors in Australia and around the world to responsibly invest in the global energy transition and has established a market leading renewables pipeline of approximately 120 GW of energy projects across technologies and locations.
