Community drop-in sessions – September 2025

Join us in Collinsville, Nebo and Eungella for the next round of community drop-in sessions for the Capricornia Pumped Hydro Project.

These drop-in sessions are a chance to have an informal, one-on-one chat with our project team. Whether you have a specific question, want to explore an area of interest in more detail, or want an update on where things are at, we’ll be there to listen and speak with you.

There will not be a presentation as part of the drop-in session. We’ll hold larger town-hall style events with a presentation again soon. Since our last round of sessions, we’ve continued to progress our studies and prepare the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The EIS is on track for public display and feedback in late 2025.

What to expect

For these sessions, there’s no formal presentation. We know people like to engage in different ways, so we’re varying the format to make it easier for everyone to take part.

You can simply drop in at a time that suits you during the session to:

  • Speak one-on-one with our project team

  • Ask questions or raise any concerns

  • Get more detail on topics you’re interested in.

If there’s something specific you’d like to discuss, let us know ahead of time by phone, email or the contact form on our website so we can have the right information on hand.

When and where

  • Eungella – Wednesday 3 September 2025, 12pm – 4pm, Eungella Recreation Reserve rotunda, North Street, Eungella

  • Collinsville – Tuesday 9 September 2025, 12pm – 4pm, Darby Munro Park rotunda, Conway St, Collinsville

  • Nebo – Wednesday 10 September 2025, 12pm – 4pm, Centenary Park rotunda, Oxford St, Nebo

There’s no need to RSVP – just drop by for a chat.

Future sessions

We plan to hold our next round of presentation-style information sessions in October, followed by another series of drop-in sessions during the EIS public display period.

The timing and number of sessions may change depending on how the EIS submission process progresses. We may also schedule additional sessions if there are updates to share or interest in particular topics.

If you’d prefer to speak with us directly in the meantime, you’re welcome to contact the team to arrange a one-on-one meeting.
